On May 18-20, 2023, the international event
"Exchange of experience in vocational education" was held in
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
The purpose of the event was to develop the teaching
methods of educators using modern approaches, to increase ICT and language
skills, to create conditions for the joint lessons and international projects with
international colleagues. Educators from countries such as Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, and Greece
participated in the international professional development event.

participated in the event promoting project-based learning experiences to
support pedagogical staff training activities that meet the requirements of the
21st century in the vocational education and training system. Esmira
Alverdiyeva, a teacher of Sumgayit City Vocational Lyceum No. 3, and Sonakhanim
Velikhanova, a teacher of the Baku State Vocational Education Center for
Culture and Crafts, participated in trainings aimed at ensuring learning based
on the joint work of students and teachers in project-based education. As a
result of the event, the participants created common lesson models and received
international certificates.
We would like to note that within the framework of
the project, various professional development trainings and international
conferences are organized for teaching staff throughout the year. The events
are held both face-to-face and online. Around 18-20 educators across the
country participate in events organized in Europe throughout the year.
